For partners
For trade schools & apprenticeship programs
HandsOnward helps people who've already shown real intent - a match score, a roadmap, a concrete next step - find their way to programs like yours. We're looking to partner with trade schools, registered apprenticeship programs, and workforce-development initiatives that can stand behind the standards below.
What we look for in a partner program
- Accredited or state-approved, where that applies to your program type.
- Transparent tuition and total cost - no hidden fees revealed only after enrollment.
- A clearly stated program duration.
- Honest completion and placement information, if you track it - we won't publish claims we can't source back to you.
- A published refund policy.
- No unresolved pattern of complaints with your state licensing board or accrediting body.
- Clear licensing eligibility - what credential, if any, a graduate is eligible to sit for.
- A defined geographic service area.
- For apprenticeships specifically: real compensation during the apprenticeship, not unpaid labor framed as training.
What to include when you reach out
A quick overview of your program: what it trains people for, accreditation/approval status, real tuition or apprenticeship pay, typical duration, and the geographic area you actually serve. That's enough for an initial conversation - nothing needs to be formalized yet.
